Design and manufacturing stage
The cavity, slider, and inserts are made of mold steel with higher hardness; the friction and erosion areas are treated with nitriding, PVD coating and other wear-resistant treatments; the rounded corners are reasonably designed to reduce the high-speed erosion of the melt. The vulnerable structure is made into an independent insert, which can be replaced separately after wear.
Production and use control
Prevent foreign matter from entering the mold cavity; control the clamping force to avoid excessive extrusion of the parting surface; and prevent the product tip from being caught on the mold closing surface and causing crushing injuries. The pick-up and ejection movements are smooth, reducing friction and strain between the product and the cavity.
Maintenance
Clean the mold cavity regularly; regularly check the cavity for scratches, collapse, and insert gaps; polish and repair minor damage in a timely manner to avoid continued deterioration.
